Likewise, the country's clinics, notably for plastic surgery, had become a destination for patients from abroad seeking high-quality services at a low price, including many Russians. Syrian medical schools even offered exchange programs with universities in France and Russia.

A 15-year old girl from Eatontown who was not seen by loved ones for days has been found safe. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office issued the alert Thursday after Alexandria Deuter went missing Sunday. The Prosecutor’s Office alerted people in the Cape May area as Deuter is a native of the town and may have traveled here as well. Fortunately police issued a follow-up statement Thursday evening that Deuter has been located.

Severe weather on Friday triggered advisories from local authorities on Friday. Cape May Beach Patrol wrote: “Lightning has been detected in the area and all #CapeMay beaches are currently closed. Please do not enter the beach until lifeguards have returned to normal operations.”In Wildwood, people were asked to seek shelter and the beach concerts will be delayed. “Please be advised, there will be a delayed opening for the Barefoot Country Music Festival due to severe weather in the area.

A 55-year old man is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy at a Brigantine landmark. Brigantine Police spotted a suspicious car parked behind the Brigantine Observation Tower at approximately 4am Saturday. Upon the officer’s arrival, the boy fled from the vehicle but police chased him down to the sea wall.

The City of Wildwood, in cooperation with The City of Wildwood Police Department, announces the retirement of Chief Robert Regalbuto after a 35-year career with thedepartment. Chief Regalbuto, a Wildwood native, graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School in 1984. After a stint in the United States Army, where he attended college, he returned to Wildwood as aClass II Officer in May 1988. That same year, he was hired by the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officer.
