    The popular weekly run at the city's West Park has become congested at the start, with many falling to a walking pace for the first 200 metres. So organisers are to turn everyone around and instead of three laps of the park in an anti-clockwise direction, runners will instead complete the course clockwise. The new arrangement will come into force on April 12, when the weekly 9am Saturday run takes place in the park, which is just a stone's throw from Molineux.

    He will speak at an event at Edgbaston Cricket Ground,  which aims to raise thousands of pounds for charity. Jasper has been supporter of the Journalists' Charity for many years and was recently appointed a life vice president. The organisation offers support to members of the profession in need globally as well as in the UK. The comedian, who has just passed his 80th birthday,  joked that he hoped he would still be around to make the date.
