Love British Comedy Guide? Support our work by making a donation. Find out more During a DVD commentary (remember those!) Dara O Briain once commented "it's nice when life presents you with a fully-formed stand-up comedy routine". He couldn't have known then the remarkable path his life would take in his 50s, and how it would end up presenting him with two extremely high quality, entirely fully-formed 40ish minute stand-up comedy routines.

Please donate to help support British comedy at all levels. Thank you. Find out more If you live in the south east of England, it was possible to go see three comedy shows about cancer last week (not sure why. Might be Thames Water's fault?). In fact, for two of them you didn't even have to leave Leicester Square Theatre. One such show was Miles Jupp, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour (which, to be clear, turned out to be benign) back in 2021.

Please donate to help support British comedy at all levels. Thank you. Find out more Fair to say there's been critical acclaim for Authentic Stupidity, Ben Elton's first tour since 2019. Please donate to help support British comedy at all levels. Thank you. Find out more Everybody's been talking about heckling over the last couple of weeks, haven't they. It's unlikely you've missed the widespread coverage afforded to the incident, where Peter Kay kicked two audience members out of his Manchester gig when they wouldn't stop shouting out (understandable), opting to aim some pretty vitriolic comments in their direction whilst doing so (less understandable).

Honestly Monday Club at Wetherspoons is such a great deal. A pint of Ruddles is £1.79, far better than the price the rest of the week: £1.79 https://t.co/OALoYqiz2m

Two big exclusives here: reports from new tours by Greg Davies and Dara O Briain. One of them I loved, one of them really annoyed me 😶 https://t.co/CfAcjCayFr
