Footballers from across England and Wales will be living out their dreams today at the Premier League Primary Stars National Girls Football Tournament finals at Molineux Stadium, the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers. Twenty schools have come through competitive local and regional qualifying events to earn the right to represent their local Premier League, English Football League or National League club in the finals.

It's been six years since Vojtech arrived in Blackburn from Slovakia. Vojtech, who is affectionately known as Billy, was only 10-years-old at the time. He spoke very little English and had few friends to help him settle in his new life in the UK. But with the help of Premier League Kicks and Blackburn Rovers Community Trust (BRCT), Billy is a shining light in the local community as a volunteer coach and mentor to other young people.

Since last September, secondary school students have been creating social-action projects to help tackle gender inequality at their football clubs and in their communities.

Izzy Christiansen has won pretty much all there is to win in women's football. In a playing career that included spells at Birmingham City, Manchester City, Lyon and Everton, she won the Women's Super League, the Women's FA Cup twice, the Women's UEFA Champions League as well as 31 caps for England. Since retiring in 2019, Christiansen has moved into the world of coaching and punditry and is a passionate advocate for getting more girls and young women involved in the game.
