After some morning sunshine, more clouds will move in as we head into the lunch hour. Most of us will be dry through your lunch break, but hit and miss rain and storms will start to pop up by mid afternoon. We should stay dry long enough in Omaha to reach the mid 70s. By the evening commute, about half of us will be seeing rain. With any storm this time of year, one or two could be strong enough to squeeze out some hail or extra wind.

Our warm and comfy weather continues today with highs in the mid 70s! While we enjoyed solid sunshine Monday, there will be more of a mix of sun and clouds today. Between 4 and 10 p.m., there will be a couple isolated showers and storms southeast of Omaha. There's a small chance one of the storms squeezes out some hail or extra wind. Overnight, we will cool off into the low 50s for the Wednesday morning commute.

After a wet and chilly Easter, the weather looks a lot nicer today! It will be mostly sunny and a lot warmer with highs in the mid 70s in Omaha. Northeast of the metro, it will be a little cooler, near 70. Late tonight, a couple of spotty showers will pop up, mainly along and north of I-80, but most of us stay dry. Everyone will be dry for the Tuesday morning commute, and we only cool off into the low 50s. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with mid 70s.

About five years ago, Lauritzen Gardens began a multi-year project to plant an 800-foot long section of daffodils, aiming to hit one million blooms each spring. The first year, about 40,000 bulbs were planted on the north side of the gardens, and thousand more have been planted each year since then. There are about a dozen varieties of white and yellow daffodils along the garden path.

Colder weather is now blowing in on the back side of last night's storm system. This will keep us breezy and cooler today with highs in the mid 50s. While a few sprinkles are possible, most of us stay dry and cloudy. The wind lightens up tonight, but we get chilly, dropping into the upper 30s for Saturday morning. Saturday brings more sunshine mixing in with a few clouds. The wind won't be as strong, and it will get a little warmer, into the low 60s.

WARMER WEEKEND: There will be plenty of wind this weekend, causing a very high fire danger both afternoons, so no outdoor burning! But the wind pumps in warmer weather from the south! Most stay dry, but there should be a couple spotty showers late Sunday night. @3NewsNowOmaha https://t.co/QlzACWAgCE
