Team Trump has a growing Iranian problem. Tehran’s latest purported nuclear offer — a farcical proposal to pause uranium enrichment for a year in exchange for the release of Iranian frozen funds and Washington’s recognition of Iran’s right to enrich uranium for civilian and energy purposes — is an obvious strategic non-starter for both the U.S. and Israel. As Freedom for the Defense of Democracies President Mark Dubowitz posted on X, “Do [the Iranians] think we’re that stupid?” Apparently so.

The Biden Administration’s strategy of “just enough” for Ukraine – i.e., not enough to win – is now being adopted in a similar form by Europe. Kyiv is burning, yet again. On Friday evening into the early hours of Saturday, Russia unleashed a massive drone and missile attack on the Ukrainian capital. “Just enough” is not only a losing strategy. It is also immoral and leading to further senseless Ukrainian civilian deaths. Follow our coverage of the war on the @Kyivpost_official.

Retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg told Fox News journalist Dana Perino a few weeks ago that “Russia’s not winning this war. Russia has not made any major advances in the last year and a half.”But you would not know that based upon President Trump’s Monday phone call to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Threats of economic sanctions and resumption of military aid to Ukraine fell by the wayside. Trump’s post on X following his two-hour phone call with Putin should have come as no surprise.
