Published June 11, 2025 By Mark Wyatt 66th Air Base Group Public Affairs HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- A temporary traffic shift and gate closure will take place beginning June 23 as part of ongoing construction at the Sartain Gate. Inbound traffic on Old Bedford Road/Vandenberg Drive will be rerouted to the outbound lane. The shift, which is expected to last approximately two and a half months, will reduce the roadway to one lane in each direction.

Published June 9, 2025 By Mark Wyatt 66th Air Base Group Public Affairs HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Base officials will host a promotion release event June 12 at 2:30 p.m. at the Minuteman Commons to formally recognize technical sergeants selected for master sergeant. Air Force officials selected 6,043 technical sergeants for promotion to master sergeant in the 2025 cycle, a 23.42 percent selection rate, including 32 assigned to or administered at Hanscom AFB.
