The Tallinn city government initiated a detailed plan last November for Hobujaama 12, Hobujaama 14 and the surrounding area, which envisions replacing the current bus parking lot with a park developed by the city and buildings constructed by the developer PalmGrupp. According to the plan, buildings of up to 11 stories may be constructed along Ahtri tänav.

Fermi Energia has prepared an application to initiate a national designated spatial plan for the construction of a nuclear power plant and it is scheduled to be submitted to the government, Fermi Energia's chairman of the supervisory board, Sandor Liive, told ERR. "It's a matter of days," he said. The company is expected to submit the application on Tuesday.

Parmas's five-year term, which began in February 2020, will end in two months time. Until now, neither the Minister of Justice nor Parmas had publicly said whether he would seek a second term. Parmas told ER that he met with Pakosta on Monday to discuss the future of the Prosecutor's Office and the possibility of continuing his term. However, as they disagreed on two fundamental issues, he decided to step down at the end of his term.

The Lasnamäe canal tramline, planned as early as the 1970s and 1980s for Laagna tee, is no longer seen as a viable idea today. If Tallinn proceeds with its development strategy to transition all public transport to electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles by 2035, as outlined in the city's vision, it would be more reasonable to introduce trolleybuses on the canal route, according to city leaders.

The price of natural gas has risen steadily, albeit with small fluctuations, since February, when the price per megawatt-hour (MWh) on the TTF gas exchange stood at €23. The summer's lowest price was recorded on July 9, at just over €30 per MWh. In early August, the price briefly exceeded €40 before dropping below €34 in mid-September, after which it resumed its upward trend.
