The No. 3 ranked Jackrabbits will face off against the No. 14 Montana Grizzlies on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium. This is a rematch of the 2023 FCS National Championship where South Dakota State beat Montana in a dominant 23-3 victory. Throughout history, the Jackrabbits are 1-7 against the Grizzlies. The last time these two teams battled on the gridiron in Brookings was in 1970 when Montana beat SDSU 24-0.

After a dominant performance on Saturday, the Jackrabbits look onto the Bears of Missouri State for their final game of the regular season. This is Missouri State’s last season as an FCS team as they are in the process of making the jump to FBS to join the C-USA conference for the 2025 season. Their first matchup at the FBS level will be against USC in August of 2025. SDSU boasts a 13-1 record over the Bears with their only loss being in the 2013 season where Missouri State beat the Jacks 35-21.

After a dominant victory over Murray State 52-6, The No. 3 Jackrabbits will travel up north to Alerus Arena in Grand Forks, North Dakota for a ranked matchup against the No. 21 Fighting Hawks. The last time these teams battled on the gridiron, the Jacks walked away with a 42-21 victory last season. SDSU is on a three-game winning streak over North Dakota with their last loss being in the 2020-21 season, losing 28-17. The Fighting Hawks lead the series with a record of 22-17-2.

This will be the first Murray State and South Dakota State matchup since the Racers entered the Missouri Valley Football Conference a season ago.
