The UN Supervisory Body (“SB”) established under Article 6.4 of the Paris Agreement to create a new international carbon crediting mechanism has created an Appeals and Grievance Procedure, which entered into force on 2 May 2024. The procedure allows people affected by decisions made under Article 6.4 to either appeal, or file a grievance against, those decisions. 1.
