While it's easy to think of the London Underground network as a fixed part of the city's infrastructure, the reality is that it's constantly evolving. Lines are frequently altered, stations are removed from the network and new ones are built regularly, necessitating constant updates to the Tube maps. Interestingly, the last stations to be removed from the network were only lost about 15 years ago.

If you had to choose one of the 272 London Underground stations for this honour, it would be a tricky decision. However, the station that bagged this honour might not be your first guess. In 2013, a set of stamps was released to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the London Underground system, and Boston Manor was the historic station chosen to grace one of them.
