But if you'll be travelling south of Buffalo, or north of Syracuse , this weekend, expect some major impacts to travel. Snow Potential - Lake Ontario and Lake ErieThrough Friday and Friday night, most of the lake effect snow inside western New York will remain through the western Southern Tier.

During the day on Saturday, many areas saw between a half inch and one inch of rain. But during the day on Sunday, there will be some scattered showers. Some sunshine during the morning, and a good breeze out of the south, will help to push temperatures along today. Highs this afternoon will be in the mid 60s. The record high for today is 66, set in 2000. Some of the stronger wind gusts will be near 30 miles per hour this afternoon.
