We have all dealt with the dad who “didn’t want a dog” until he had one. This dad swore he wanted nothing to do with his daughter’s dog. Now, he sports a tattoo of the dog on his arm. Although odd and maybe stalker-ish, it only tells a small portion of the story. The family went out shopping for a new couch recently. The dad wanted to sit on each one, but his testing criteria had nothing to do with how comfortable the furniture was.

A geyser is shooting out at a 45-degree angle, spewing water 30 to 40 feet. The high-pressure stream of water is showering nearby cars with debris. A man leaps from the car and runs to the location of the broken water line. He’s a man who sees a problem and immediately jumps into action to fix it. Reaching down into the access hole, he quickly turns the valve to shut off the water.

Mason & Jordan are traveling around the world on a budget. Their current adventure has them in Japan. They are hiking and using inexpensive public transportation to tour the country. On their way to catch a train, they stopped because Jordan wanted to take a closer look at a giant salamander. In fairness, that is a large salamander. They’re not independently wealthy. They just decided to quit their jobs and become world travelers. Jordan had one goal in Japan.

Flynn is a beautiful, dappled Appaloosa yearling horse who might actually be a dog trapped in a horse body. Specifically, a golden retriever. He is full of youthful energy and stuck on a farm with a bunch of old, fuddy-duddy horses. The other horses don’t want to play and sometimes barely tolerate Flynn’s existence in their realm. Flynn’s owners knew he needed some enrichment activity, so they got the horse a ball to play with.

It is no secret that most animals enjoy music. While we probably assumed that genre and artist made no difference, Bruce the Saint Bernard says otherwise. During a test of music, Bruce rated each song with his body language. Guns and Roses: check. Sublime: check. Coldplay: check. The Lumineers… The dog hates The Lumineers.
