He was granted his wish in the wee hours of Monday morning, reportedly agreeing to a 14-year, $500 million extension with the Blue Jays. The Dominican-Canadian slugger enjoyed a sterling 2024 season, landing MVP votes after posting a .323/.396/.544 slash line across 159 appearances.
