A new movie theater is coming to the Ohio Valley MallAnnounced on Thursday, Golden Ticket Cinemas will be a new resident at the Ohio Valley Mall. They plan to open the existing 57,000 square foot space in the forth quarter on this year. The theater will have eight auditoriums with luxury recliner seats. Golden Ticket promises laser projection in 4K picture, DTS Surround sound, a 3-story 53 feet wide screen, heated luxury seats, and full food and beverage services that you can order from your seat.

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — The PODA, or Private Outdoor Designated Area, allows people using a specially marked cup to walk around outdoors while carrying an adult beverage, and the City of Wheeling has completed its part in preparation. Wheeling’s PODA will include Heritage Port as well as 10th Street to 23rd. The city now has a logo, an updated website, rules and regulations, and applications for businesses. Council members say that they are on track with summer right around the corner.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — Community members across Adena stepped up to the plate to support a local family after the loss of their son, Bradyn White. 7News reporter Mary Flavin stopped by Swinging for Bradyn, an adult softball tournament, to see how this unique fundraiser is helping the family during this difficult time. Several softball teams were scattered across the Bedway Ballfield, all going up to bat for one purpose.
