The Tigers are headed into the series ranked No. 6 after their sweep of No. 3 LSU last weekend. Tonight's game will begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday's game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and the series will wrap up at noon on Saturday.

There is a lot of optimism surrounding the quarterback position for Auburn football this year. Head coach Hugh Freeze made the decision to bring back Payton Thorne for a second year rather then looking to the transfer portal, and it did not turn out to be the best decision for the Tigers. For whatever reason, as a fifth-year senior, Thorne struggled as the leader of Auburn's offense.

The Auburn basketball program got some good recruiting news this week with the announcement that former JUCO big man Emeka Opurum will be joining the squad for the next season. The Tigers had a fantastic run all the way to the Final Four this past season, but did it with a team that was mostly made up of seniors.

Now that spring practice has come to a close after A-Day festivities on Saturday, the focus for the Auburn football coaching staff returns to recruiting. Prospects from all over the country are in the process of setting up official and unofficial visits, and today the spring transfer portal window opens. While the Tigers' staff will be looking to add some pieces to the roster, they also have to make sure that their current players stick around.

Spring practice ended for the Auburn football team on Saturday with the A-Day open practice, and since then, multiple Tigers have elected to part ways with the team and hit the transfer portal. The first to go was safety Terrance Love, who shared plans to transfer just hours after A-Day was over. Love spent two seasons on the Plains and played in most of the Tigers' games in those two seasons.
