THE PROJECTAt the invitation of the leadership of The American Law Institute, a group with a membership that spans a range of legal and political views came together to consider possible reforms for the Insurrection Act. Group members have varied backgrounds in constitutional law, national security law, and military law, and in senior positions of the U.S. Government. All share the belief that Congress should reform the Insurrection Act.
