    The Spanish operator announced that it has hammered out the package with almost 20 banks, which it is taking as a sign of strong support from both national and international capital markets. The package is split into two parts: up to €6.5 billion at the MasOrange level and €4.7 billion in infrastructure financing at FiberCo, the fibre-to-the-home joint venture it formally agreed with Vodafone Spain in January.

    There are now 250 million 5G users in India, according to new government figures that serve to highlight the extent of the challenge faced by 5G newcomer Vodafone Idea. Those users have all signed up since the launch of 5G services in India in October 2022, less than two and a half years ago, a statement from the Ministry of Communications pointed out late last week.
