A young woman has been left in tears, after she finally got offered a marketing job – only to have the offer rescinded days later, revealing a grim trend. Lorin Deveaux, 21, tearfully explained online that after a rigorous interview process, she was finally told she’d landed a job … but the good news was short-lived. After not receiving her contract, the future employer eventually called her and rescinded the offer, claiming that the job was no longer needed.

Property investor Jack Henderson has claimed that agents making up “imaginary buyers” to get Aussies to bid against themselves is a common trick. Mr Henderson, 28, has amassed a $40 million dollar property empire, and he has secured over 15 investment properties. The 28-year-old Sydney bloke lives and breathes real estate and runs the buyer’s agency called Henderson Advocacy. He said real estate agents making up “fake offers” is a very common sales tactic in 2025 and one to dodge.

Millionaire property tycoon Theo Onisforou’s 24-year-old son Angus is spending time with Aussie model Megan Blake Irwin. The 32-year-old model, who is primarily based in America, was seen with the property heir in Sydney. The younger Onisforou picked the model up from a Witchery event that Irwin was involved in to celebrate the annual launch of the fashion brand’s White Shirt campaign, which raises money for ovarian cancer research.

Aidan Cramer is the co-founder of AIApply, an app that uses artificial intelligence to help workers write cover letters, apply for jobs and ultimately secure interviews. The boss shared a clip of a wild job interview over Zoom with a Gen Zer who was using the filter to appear like a breakfast plate during their chat.
