Today’s Supreme Court decision regarding presidential immunity is frightening. As I understand the ruling, presidents now have immunity to commit crimes that non-presidents would be prosecuted for. The Court has significantly expanded presidential power, placing presidents above the law and reversing centuries of precedent. Many legal experts say there is no basis in the Constitution for their decision. This is not democracy. Last week, another long-standing precedent was overturned.
