According to the 2019 Global Burden of Disease study, musculoskeletal disorders were the sixth leading cause of disability globally.1 Low back pain (LBP) was a leading cause of years lived with disability (YLDs) responsible for 7.4% (6.2%–8.7%) of total global YLDs in 2019.
