[As of this writing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is down over 930 points.]I’ve said this before, but under the circumstances, I think it’s worth repeating. Donald and I have basically one thing in common: we’re absolutely terrible with money. The difference in that one point of commonality, however, is that I have no problem admitting it. I do not have to endanger the global economy in order to prove that I’m good at something at which I am objectively terrible.

In anticipation of today’s Wisconsin State Supreme Court election, Elon Musk was in Green Bay over the weekend putting millions of dollars behind the right-wing candidate, Brad Schimel in what he called a town hall. What business he has holding such a thing is beyond me considering he is not an elected representative and has no legitimate role in our government. He started off by saying:They don't realize just how important [this election] is.

Donald said in a call yesterday with NBC News that he was “very angry” and “pissed off” after Vladimir Putin questioned the credibility of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s leadership. Donald claimed that Putin’s comments were “not going in the right location,” by which I think he means they are not helpful in the context of the so-called peace negotiations. Donald seems to forget that he himself has called Zelensky a dictator.

Four US soldiers who went missing on Tuesday, 25 March during a NATO training mission near the Belarus border have been confirmed dead. When Donald Trump, the ostensible commander-in-chief, was asked about the incident on Tuesday afternoon, he claimed he hasn't been briefed. While the families waited in agony for any word of what happened, the an who is supposed to be in charge of the United States military couldn’t be bothered to ask a single question about the soldiers’ status.

His goal was to do some damage control.

The precipice is here and we are on it. And we’re closer to falling off of it than we have been in over a hundred and fifty years. I cannot claim to have any insight into the minds of Democratic leaders. I don’t know if they are driven by good if tragically misguided and ill-informed motives; I do not know if they are blinkered by having inhabited the insular world of the Senate for far too long; I do not know if there are other, worse things at play.
