Raw images were imported into FIJI (ImageJ; National Institutes of Health) for analysis. For Lamin Dm0 and Lamin C, their fluorescence signals were binarized to recognize nuclei and a mask image was created. The edges of nuclei were bright; therefore, to exclude this area, the mask image was eroded by five pixels. The eroded mask image area was designated a region of interest (ROI).
