The Magic: The Gathering card Keeper of the Nine Gales has soared in value on the secondary market, going from just $2 on May 20 to $9.69 on June 9 according to MTG Goldfish. That's a pretty swift ascension of 360%. This card hails from a very old MTG set: 2003's Legions. Other than a stint on the List, Keeper of the Nine Gales has never had a reprint since, so it makes perfect sense that it was susceptible to a spike. This creature is designed to be played in a bird tribal deck.

The upcoming Final Fantasy Magic set has been in the works for many years, so it makes sense that its final design looks a lot different to its first. According to a recent article posted by Wizards of the Coast, there were loads of interesting mechanics planned for Final Fantasy that were dropped along the way – including a card type that Magic fans have been waiting to see return for ages. If you want to secure some packs of the next Pokémon TCG release ahead of schedule then you'd better act fast. There's a preorder deal going at Target right now, but we've no way of knowing how long it'll be in stock for. While most products for the newest Pokémon set after Destined Rivals are selling out the moment they go live, this Poster Collection box for White Flare and Black Bolt has stuck around for a couple of hours already.

The MTG card High Noon has soared in price lately. It really started to pick up at the end of April, a few weeks after Tarkir Dragonstorm. Back then it cost just $0.60, according to MTG Goldfish, but now it's up to $4 and still apparently rising. Released in the Magic: The Gathering set Outlaws of Thunder Junction last year, High Noon is a 'Rule of Law' type enchantment that stops players casting more than one spell each turn.

For the entirety of Pokémon Pocket's history, the game has been defined by its Pokémon ex cards. Sure, there have been some non-ex decks that perform pretty well, like the Lucario fighting type list from a few seasons back, but usually they're a tier below the decks led by the top ex cards, and people like me only play them to be different (or because we haven't found the right exs yet). There's a good reason for that.

Do all animals enjoy the flavour of the food they’re designed to eat? It would be sad if a cow thought grass tasted shit

Thought the first of these #DoctorWho specials was a bit of an average #RTD episode. (Which is to say it was good TV and the best Doctor Who has been in years)
