    Perhaps one of the best-timed documentaries in history was Adam Curtis’s HyperNormalisation, which debuted in October 2016, just one month before Donald Trump would be elected President. Curtis argues that the complex problems the world faces are no longer addressed, and the entire Capitalistic system is held together by financiers and technocrats who seek to manage everything just enough so that the system doesn’t collapse. But lately I’ve been thinking about the idea of hypernormalization.
