STORMTRACKER 4 Forecast- Weekend weather is looking active at times. It is a StormTracker 4 Alert Day Sunday as remnants of Tropical Storm Alvin move into our area. Saturday looks mostly dry and hot. There is a 20% chance of mainly dry thunderstorms for area south and east of Tucson. Otherwise it will be hot with highs near 100 under mostly sunny skies. Meanwhile a cut-off over Baja California will help steer deep moisture from former T.S. Alvin into the region.

Partly and sunny and hot Friday with a few thunderstorms mainly east of Tucson. With the dry air in place one of the biggest concerns will be lightning. This could spark additional wildfires. STORMTRACKER 4 Forecast- Temperatures will warm daily through Friday as high pressure moves into our forecast area. As we transition into the middle portion of our work week daytime highs will approach or go slightly above 100°. High pressure will keep highs in the triple digits through Friday.  Rain will be possible late next weekend! We're watching a cut off low that could tap into tropical moisture off the Baja coast. This system could bring the push we need to get some moisture into the desert.

STORMTRACKER 4 Forecast- Welcome to your long holiday weekend! Weather-wise things are looking slightly cooler. After the recent triple-digit, daytime highs are headed back to the mid 90s all weekend long.  The other big story we'll be tracking are the winds - that have come down recently. Expect some afternoon breezes both Saturday, Sunday and Monday close to 25 mph - so please remain on your best fire weather behavior.
