Jagged mountains awaiting to be conquered by skis, a smorgasbord of dishes and flavours that rivals the world’s culinary powerhouses, and a history and culture that stretches back millennia; it’s easy to see why Georgia has become such an attractive destination for intrepid and luxury travellers. HRH Prince Juan Bagration-Mukhrani is a great champion of the country’s fantastic experiences as well as its limitless potential.

A wander along the narrow lanes, alleys and souks of Fez’s old quarter; a snorkel under the azure blue waves off Zanzibar’s golden coastline; a sunset stroll around the incredible temples of Angkor Wat; we all dream of indulging our wanderlust by waking up to a new destination and itinerary every day.

The mid-afternoon sun is casting its golden glow on the rooftops of Business Bay’s megastructures. At their base, the roads heave with traffic as the area’s occupants and workers hurriedly go about their schedules without a second to spare. The drive along the enchanting Corniche is a journey through the history of Abu Dhabi. A fresh, crisp breeze wanders its way through the descending droplets of rain to my balcony that overlooks Milan’s uber-fashionable district of Quadrilatero della Moda. As a resident of the desert, the inclement weather is rather refreshing as I take in the views of the surrounding neoclassical buildings that are being pelted by this latest downpour. A glass of Champagne in one hand and an Armani/Dolci chocolate in the other, I believe that I have found my own definition of La Dolce Vita.

It's quite incredible how the rugby's suits wrecked Super Rugby (along with Heineken Cup). Perfect comps with huge crowds and drama. Now both comps are complete shells or what they use to be
