The Ramsey City Council unanimously voted during its May 13 meeting to accept bids and awarded a contract to Dave Perkins Contracting for Mississippi Estate Street reconstructions of just more than $674,000. That business is one of the city’s emergency contractors for water main replacement work, Public Works Director Bruce Westby said during a presentation about the project.

The Spring Lake Park City Council, during its Monday, May 5 meeting, unanimously approved assessing residents for a street rehabilitation project. On a separate unanimous vote the council awarded the repair project to North Valley, Inc. The street project is for 79th Avenue between Able and Highway 65, and Taylor Street south of 79th, Phil Gravel said.
