A Pick-6 ticket sold in Union County hit the $5.5 million jackpot for Thursday night’s lottery drawing. The winning Pick-6 ticket was sold at Clark Cardsmart on Westfield Avenue in Clark, New Jersey Lottery officials announced Friday. The ticket matched all the winning numbers drawn: 7, 10, 24, 31, 43 and 44. The cash option for the jackpot is nearly $2.6 million. The Pick-6 jackpot was last won in January, when a player hit a $32 million prize. That was the fourth largest win in the game’s history.

A credit card skimmer was discovered Wednesday on a 7-Eleven store register in Camden County. Store employees found the skimmer at the convenience store’s checkout at 521 W. Kings Highway in Mount Ephraim, police said. “We are now asking those who have shopped at this 7-Eleven or anyone who has recently used the credit card machine at this 7-Eleven to review their banking transactions,” Mount Ephraim police said.

A 74-year-old pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a minivan in Princeton on Tuesday afternoon. The man was walking along Wiggins Street near Sylvia Beach Way at 3:44 p.m. when he was hit by a 17-year-old driver, Princeton police said. The pedestrian was taken by helicopter to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton where he remains hospitalized with serious injuries, police said Wednesday.

Fierce winds continue to rip across New Jersey on Sunday evening with a peak gust of 71 mph reported in Atlantic County. Tens of thousands of homes and businesses are without power, according to NJ Advance Media’s live outage tracker. Multiple wind gusts of 60+ mph have been reported. A high wind warning issued by the National Weather Service for most of the state that continues into Monday, when gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected.
