When David sat down for a regular dinner with his parents and kids last month, he didn't realise it would be the last. His father, Rodney, had pulled out a political flyer and spoke of the Donald Trump movement. David then realised they had vastly different political opinions and immediately left the house with his kids. "After discovering [my father's political views], it made me reevaluate my relationship and opinion of him," David, 54, told The Feed.

At just 19 years old, Tom Robb noticed he was balding and started using hair treatments and medications, but none of them brought his hair back. "I used to joke with my dad that he had more hair than me at 55 than I did at 20," Tom told The Feed. Thomas Ton was diagnosed with psoriasis — a skin disease that causes itchy rashes — at the age of 10. Eventually, the condition spread to "80 per cent" of his body, until he found an unconventional way to relieve his symptoms. Initially, Ton experimented with different diets. "I tried a plant-based diet, a low inflammatory diet … keto. Some of it did help, but I still had some flare-ups," the now-31-year-old told The Feed.

Teghan Polgaise recalls the moment she gave birth to her third child — a third boy — and her feelings of disappointment that she didn't get a girl. "I was a bit like — 'really? Again?'" Polglaise, 34, told The Feed. So she and her partner travelled to the US to select the sex of their fourth child via IVF — a practice that is illegal in Australia. It would end up costing them about $30,000 to have a girl, plus another $10,000 once flights and accommodation were factored in.
