A new diorama showing a slice of prehistoric time is on display in the Museum of Geosciences on the Virginia Tech campus. Museum intern and undergraduate student Tanween Syed created the scene depicting a coelophysoid with its eggs nearby, and a small crocodylomorph trying to evade the dinosaur. The scene also shows muddy tracks created by the dinosaur, representing the theropod tracks found in Culpeper Quarry in 1989, the only evidence of dinosaur fossils discovered in Virginia thus far.
