TOPICS:Severe weatherUncertaintyStormsThursdayFridayHailWindsTornadoThe severe weather threat for Thursday and Friday continues to be conditional. Before the chance for storms, Wednesday will have some phenomenal weather with light winds, plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Some showers and non-severe storms are possible late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The following round of potential storm activity comes with a lot of uncertainty.

TOPICS:Severe weatherStormsThursdayWindsShowersRiskHailWeekendEnjoy Tuesday and Wednesday's weather because that gets a little tricky starting on Thursday. On Tuesday the area will enjoy plenty of sunshine, but it will be a little brisk with northwest winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour. Wednesday will be the best day of the workweek with highs approaching 70 and light winds. Our first chance for showers and storms arrives on Thursday morning, but these will not include our severe weather risk.

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — Spring is here and that means over the next several weeks you will hear the sound of lawnmowers. One northeast Missouri community has some rules they would like property owners to remember. In Kirksville, grass, weeds and/or other obnoxious growths may not grow to a height of over eight inches above the ground. Grass must stay in the yards and not on the streets or in storm drains.
