Following June 4’s State of Play, Team Asobi announced that five new challenge levels would be heading to Astro Bot next month. The team have since posted on with more details about these levels, including the launch date of July 10. The inclusion of these new levels means there will be 90+ levels in the main game, with all additional levels being added via a free update, like all previous level content Astro Bot has received.

There have been numerous James Bond games for gamers and spy enthusiasts to enjoy. Some rehashed the plots of the films we loved, whilst others, like James Bond 007: Blood Stone, brought a fresh Bond tale to the table. IO Interactive are the latest developer looking to bring the famed secret agent to consoles once again. Famed for their Hitman games, it seems like a match made in heaven.

This year is shaping up as a year superhero gamers may want to forget. First, Warner Bros. canceled the DC Wonder Woman game, which was being helmed by Monolith Productions, the team behind the excellent Shadow of Mordor duology. More recently, Skydance Games announced the delay of their hotly anticipated Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. Now, EA has added to the anti-year of superhero gaming, as they announced the closure of Cliffhanger Games, and the cancellation of their upcoming Black Panther title.

Thirty-three days after release, Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive’s widely praised RPG, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has sold 3.3 million units. That’s a lot of 3s. The news was confirmed by an X post on the game’s official account. Despite the possibility of sorcery being used to conjure such an odd occurrence, it’s likely down to the fact that the RPG is a bona fide hit.

As many players feared when NetherRealm dropped Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition on May 14, the support for the fighting game would cease, and a recent X post confirms that. Acknowledging players’ requests for continued game support, the studio has confirmed that the game will receive no further DLC characters or story chapters from this point onwards. They did confirm that they would continue to deliver updates addressing bug fixes and balance adjustments.
