Microsoft announced Tuesday that it will be slashing part of its workforce in the coming months. According to the Wall Street Journal, the software behemoth will lay off "less than 3%" of its workforce, which amounts to fewer than 6,800 employees. The daughter and grandson of a French cryptocurrency CEO were the victims of a shocking and brazen attack in Paris Tuesday. Video of the incident is circulating on social media. In the clip, masked and armed men can be seen jumping out of a vehicle and assaulting the woman and her young son while trying to force them into a van. The woman's partner attempted to interfere and was also beaten.

The wife of "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller has reportedly filed for divorce after more than 16 years of marriage. TMZ first broke the news that Natalie Swanston, the wife of the 64-year-old British executive, filed the documents Friday, which was also listed as the date of separation. Fuller and his wife were married in 2008 and share three children together, a 14-year-old daughter and nine-year-old twins.
