BELVIDERE, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – A maple sugaring company in Lamoille County just received a significant grant from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture that they say will help them build an entire new facility, since they’ve outgrown their current sugarhouse. Barred Woods Maple is a Vermont maple sugaring business that’s grown substantially over the last five years, according to Matt and Barb Paggi, two of its owners.

BURLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – A judge officially released Mohsen Mahdawi Wednesday morning following a hearing at Burlington’s federal courthouse. Mahdawi had been in a state prison for 15 days after he was detained by ICE agents. “I want to thank all of you here,” Mahdawi said to a crowd of people gathered outside the courthouse moments after his release.
