Following the positive reception to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, one of the questions lingering on fans' minds was if and when they could expect a similar title for the third and fourth games. Those same fans would have to wait a little over 4 years for an answer, with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 announced in March and set for a July 11 release date.

For many developers, the chance to remake a beloved game is both an honor and a challenge because they must retain what players love but also modernize the title. It's a challenge that Iron Galaxy took on with zeal with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, with the studio ultimately continuing the format established by Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. Unlike that first remake package, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 contains something that lets Iron Galaxy put its own stamp on the titles: a brand-new park.

Despite rumors that a remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 would never see the light of day, developer Iron Galaxy and publisher Activision announced it just this past March. It's exciting and possibly set up to make the same kind of waves as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 didin 2020. Of course, it's not enough to give these titles a visual upgrade, slap Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 on the cover, and call it a day.

The futuristic sci-fi shooter La Quimera is one of a handful of single-player, story-driven FPS titles set for release in 2025, and it comes as the first game from new studio Reburn. Originally known as 4A Games Ukraine — one of the core developers behind the excellent Metro FPS titles — Reburn started work on La Quimera as the newly rebranded studio's debut title in 2020, with an originally targeted release date of April 25, 2025.
