    Many kids who grew up in Inver Grove Heights in the 1980’s and early 1990’s kept busy by playing baseball in the summer, football in the fall, and basketball and hockey in the winter. While this included organized sports, kids from this era had the most fun playing these sports at all times of the year with neighborhood kids in the streets, backyard, or at local parks such as Oakwood, Skyview, Groveland.
