The Federal Aviation Administration has issued ground stops on Wednesday affecting Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field. The ground stops have been extended until 2 p.m. Wednesday at DFW Airport and Love Field due to thunderstorms in North Texas. Both airports were experiencing delays prior to the stop, with some flights at Love Field delayed by an average of 30 minutes. The ground stops will prevent flights from taking off bound for North Texas until the advisory expires.
