    In a fitting end to Leonard Hamilton’s illustrious tenure in Tallahassee, Florida State (17-14, 8-12) defeated the SMU Mustangs (22-9, 13-7) in a high energy, back and forth game, 76-69. The win was the 200th ACC victory of Hamilton’s career and ensures FSU of a winning season. The Mustangs, led by former FSU assistant coach Andy Enfield, must now do some serious damage in the ACC Tournament if they hope to make the NCAA Tourney.

Favored by just four points, the Clemson Tigers (21-5, 13-2) put this one away early, leading by 15 or more points for the final 25 minutes of the game. Florida State came out with energy, but struggled mightily to put the ball in the basket from all three levels, which eventually led to frustration and mistakes.
