His longest outing of the season is four innings, which he has done three times.

Missed tackles have plagued the defense as its annual rankings have trended downward. The topic became a near weekly conversation with players and coaches alike last year, as the Saints finished among the worst-tackling teams in 2024. Per Pro Football Reference, the Saints finished No. 4 in the NFL last year for most missed tackles.

It can help identify multiple ways a player might contribute and give players additional opportunities to earn a roster spot. The New Orleans Saints were expected to do the same along the offensive line. However, after two weeks of OTAs, it seems as if things are going well enough that the team hasn’t done as much rotating as previously anticipated.
