Earlier this week, we asked fans how to graded New England’s 2025 free agency period with the significant moves already made. This included the additions of players like Milton Williams, Stefon Diggs, Morgan Moses, and Harold Landry, and the departures of captains Ja’Whaun Bentley and David Andrews. Sixty-two percent of respondents gave the Patriots a “B” grade, indicating Patriots fans are pleased with the team’s approach but not fully satisfied.

The New England Patriots entered free agency with more money to spend and more holes to fill than anyone else. Under Mike Vrabel’s leadership, the team used that money to begin to mold the team to his image. Key additions included bolstering the front seven with defensive tackle Milton Williams, edge defenders Harold Landry and K’lavon Chaisson, and linebackers Robert Spillane and Jack Gibbens. The addition of cornerback Carlton Davis added a veteran option across from Christian Gonzalez.

Brian Fluharty-Imagn Images The New England Patriots had until Monday to decide whether or not to match the offer sheet restricted free agent linebacker Christian Elliss signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. They indeed opted to do so, keeping the 26-year-old on a two-year contract extension. Full details of that extension are not yet available, but we know that the compensation at least meets the $4.8 million value of the Raiders’ original offer. Let’s grade the decision.

I am skeptical of Campbell's ability to succeed at a high level at tackle in the NFL, but it is really easy to root for him on a personal level. His attitude is awesome, and I love any linemen who embraces physicality. Will be rooting for him regardless of where he lands.
