When Guam High School and St. John’s School met during the Interscholastic Girls High School Football League regular season, the Panthers defeated the Knights 1-0. But in Friday’s quarterfinal playoff game, where the two teams squared off at John F. Kennedy High School’s Ramsey Field, the Knights delivered sweet revenge on the Panthers, sending Guam High packing 3-1, in a penalty kick shootout. “This team, we just wanted it so bad,” said Knights goalkeeper Saya Green.

Considered by many the godfather of tennis on Guam, Enrique R. “Rick” Ninete, 82, retired on Thursday as the Guam Department of Parks and Recreation’s director of tennis, a position he held honorably for nearly four decades. “The mind is still OK, but the body sometimes says: ‘Hey.
