Miami's hot transfer portal recruiting isn't over. Former Tennessee safety Jakobe Thomas has committed to the Hurricanes, his agency 3 Strand Sports & Entertainment tells 247Sports. Thomas had ranked as the second-best uncommitted defensive player and fourth-best uncommitted overall player in the transfer portal. Florida State had been another team in the mix with him. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Thomas, who's repped by Eugene Lee and Oscar Monnier, had 22 tackles at Tennessee last season.
