    On a rainy evening on March 16, 2025, Counterpunch with Wes Hoffman and Friends, Taken Days, and Versus the World played at 924 Gilman  in Berkeley California. 924 Gilman was the perfect venue for these bands. Despite the downpour, the show was a resounding success, with the energy from the crowd keeping it vibrant. Wes Hoffman and Friends opened the show with a fantastic performance! They started strong with their first song, “Take the Easy Way Out,” setting the tone for the rest of the night.

    On February 26, 2025, the Cornerstone Berkeley in Berkeley, California, hosted a highly anticipated punk rock show featuring Winona Fighter alongside Stratejacket and 2Morrows June. The venue was packed, proving once again that the punk scene is very much alive. The show kicked off with 2Morrows June, a band hailing from the Bay Area. From the moment they took the stage, their energy was contagious. They launched into their opening song, “Intro”, leaving the crowd electrified.

    On February 7. 2025 we set forth to the Hopmonk Novato in Novato California in the heart of the Target parking lot. The evening event was John Doe with special guest Jill Sobule. This was night one of a two-night stretch here and wow, the crowd was set up for a fabulous show. Jill Sobule kicked off the night, and the crowd was into her from the very beginning. Accompanied by two guys who were making a documentary about her, she matched the audience’s energy and passion.

    On January 18 2025, Hopmonk Novato and KC Turner hosted a special event. The evening’s event was Big Brother and the Holding Company with special guest, The Jenny Kerr band. This evening was chocked full of musical excitement all in tribute to Janis Joplin. The Jenny Kerr Band set an energetic pace for the night. They kicked off the evening with “Itch” and continued to impress the audience throughout their set.

    On January 15, 2025, Kerry King kicked off the North American tour 2025 at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, California, with an explosive performance. The supporting acts for this tour were Alien Weaponry and Municipal Waste, creating a perfect combination of talent. This show was nearly a sellout, and those who missed it definitely missed an unforgettable experience. Alien Weaponry was the first band to take the stage.
