REEVES COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - A construction worker was killed after being hit by a semi truck in Reeves County, Thursday, April 3 at about 2:30 p.m.Texas DPS reports that a semi truck was driving west along Interstate 20 near mile marker 28 when it swerved to avoid hitting slowed traffic. The traffic was slowed down because of an active construction zone. When the truck swerved, it hit a construction zone worker, then reentered the westbound lanes of I-20 and continued on.

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - Three people were injured after a crash along Highway 191 in Midland County. The City of Midland says that at about 8:38 p.m. on Wednesday, police and fire responded to a crash with serious bodily injuries in the 12300 block of Highway 191. Officials say that a 2022 Ram 2500 and a second vehicle were traveling in the same direction in the same lane. MPD reports that the second vehicle was speeding when it struck the back right side of the Ram 2500.

GARDENDALE, Texas (KOSA) - UPDATE Tuesday, Aug. 6:The boil water notice has been rescinded for residents of Gardendale. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required this notice back on Saturday after a water main break. The Greater Gardendale Water Corporation reports that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use. A boil water notice has been issued for Gardendale after a water line break this morning. The break is 18′' between County Road 54 and County Road 56.

MERKEL, Texas (KOSA) - The Midland Rockhounds bus was involved in a crash in Taylor County about 20 miles west of Abilene. According to a Rockhounds spokesperson, no injuries were reported. No other details of what led up to the crash were released. The crash happened as the team was en route to Arkansas from Midland for a game on Tuesday. The Midland Rockhounds say that they will continue their journey to Arkansas. They are still scheduled to play against the Travelers on Tuesday.
