ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - Two men have been arrested after an 8-year-old boy was shot in Odessa on Monday. Santos Martin Roman, 24, and Anthony Gallegos Ramon Jr., 24, are charged with Injury to a Child “Felony 1”, three counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon “Felony 2”, and Deadly Conduct “Felony 3”, according to Odessa Police. On Monday, at about 12:12 p.m., Odessa Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Monahans for a shooting.

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - One person was injured, and another was arrested after a shooting Sunday. Deputies were called to the 4000 block of ECR 125 for a gunshot victim. Officials say the victim was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital and is in stable condition. The suspect was identified as Dale Keith Rittenhouse, according to the Midland County Sheriff’s Office.

REEVES COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - A construction worker was killed after being hit by a semi truck in Reeves County, Thursday, April 3 at about 2:30 p.m.Texas DPS reports that a semi truck was driving west along Interstate 20 near mile marker 28 when it swerved to avoid hitting slowed traffic. The traffic was slowed down because of an active construction zone. When the truck swerved, it hit a construction zone worker, then reentered the westbound lanes of I-20 and continued on.

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - Three people were injured after a crash along Highway 191 in Midland County. The City of Midland says that at about 8:38 p.m. on Wednesday, police and fire responded to a crash with serious bodily injuries in the 12300 block of Highway 191. Officials say that a 2022 Ram 2500 and a second vehicle were traveling in the same direction in the same lane. MPD reports that the second vehicle was speeding when it struck the back right side of the Ram 2500.
