GRANDPARENTS who unwittingly held onto and tried to sell gold bars that had been previously stolen from an 18th-century shipwreck have shared the harrowing details of their ordeal. Philip and Gay Courter were arrested on June 29, 2022, in connection with money laundering, organized crime, and the trafficking of cultural goods - but say they had no idea the bars were stolen.

A DRIVER has shared his frustration after he commuted home from work only to find his car nowhere in sight - and ended with him having to pay a $260 fine. Alex Dixon has commuted to work in New York City from the Riverside Train Station in Greenwich, Connecticut for 21 years but on September 3 he exited the train with no car to ride home in. Dixon and many others cars were towed from the Metro North lot because of milling and paving work.

A WALMART shopper has shared their frustration after a negative experience while checking out at the retailer. Arkansas native, Sookie Simone complained in a Facebook post about the latest experience they had at their local Walmart after spending hundreds of dollars. Simone said she purchased $332 worth of items in an hour at Walmart in the post. She then described the scene while she was checking out. "The hateful woman asked to see my receipt," Simone said.

A BELOVED restaurant franchisee has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and has slammed the brand for its 'extreme' requirements. Smokin’ Dutchman Holdings, which operates four Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations in Michigan filed for bankruptcy on Monday, according to court documents. Sonny's BBQ rival Dickey's Barbecue Pit operates over 500 restaurant locations across 44 states.
