The Golden Bears scored a combined nine runs in the third and fourth innings to erase an early deficit and earn their first state title since 1998 with a 10-2 win over Petersburg in the WVSSAC Class AA state tournament final in six innings at Little Creek Park in South Charleston. “I’m proud of the senior leadership, I can’t say anything else,” Oak Glen coach Sherrie Garner said.
