Despite my yearning to lay down roots, over the past two decades I've lived in a handful of American cities. One consequence is perspective-and if I'm being truthful, strong opinions-about things some places do better (and worse) than others.

Leftist attacks on Zionism, which in many quarters have devolved into overt anti-Semitism, seem strange alongside the left’s cultural agenda of diversity and inclusion. But perhaps the contradiction is only apparent. Today’s constant celebrations of diversity are meant to obscure a drive for total ideological homogeneity.

CHARLES TOWN — The Washington Patriots started their 2023 gridiron campaign with a bang, posting a dominating 49-6 victory over Page County (Va). The Patriots scored often and early in the first quarter, amassing a 28-0 lead by the close of the first 12 minutes if play, and a 35-0 lead at halftime. The Panthers notched their only touchdown early in the second half, missing the two-point conversion. On the ensuring kickoff, Javon Jones took the ball 60 yards for a touchdown, making the score, 42-6.
