Games as aesthetically rich as The Midnight Walk don’t come very often. As a fan of claymation visuals and stop-motion animation, I felt specifically catered to with this experience. And to my delight, the designs are varied and interesting throughout the journey. But this isn’t a visual novel; there’s a surprising emphasis on stealth gameplay here that I wasn’t quite prepared for (or maybe it was the absolutely terrifying creatures that I wasn’t ready for).

It’s been five long years since the last Division story DLC, Warlords of New York, graced player’s screens. The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion has more RPG mechanics built into it than Skyrim or most Bethesda games after Oblivion, for that matter. Skyrim streamlined some of the intricate busywork that fans have enjoyed dabbling in (and breaking the game with) since Daggerfall and Morrowind. Perhaps most obvious is the complete omission of an NPC persuasion minigame in Skyrim. The Oblivion Remaster brings back the old persuasion minigame wheel and all of the other cool stuff the original had.

La Quimera is a uniquely styled sci-fi FPS. The Latin America setting is something we haven’t seen much of, and the mixing of megalopolis high-rises and jungle landscapes provides a unique playground to fight in. This new FPS comes courtesy of Reburn studios; a recent split from Metro series developers 4A Games. There’s already been a day-long closed beta, so footage is out there for a couple of the missions. Here are 15 things you need to know about it before you pick it up.
