Joey Logano, now a three-time Cup series champion celebrated on Friday night in uptown Charlotte, NC. Logano (Cup champion), Justin Allgaier (Xfinity champion) and Ty Majeski (Truck champion) were all honored on Friday night. Since Logano joined Team Penske in 2013, Logano has won 34 races along with three championships. During his speech Friday night, Logano thanked his team, his family and the families of his team members and also talked about the legends who came before him.

Ryan Blaney will race for his second consecutive NASCAR Cup Series championship next weekend at Phoenix Raceway. Blaney, who won on Sunday will join Tyler Reddick, Joey Logano and William Byron in the Championship 4. Byron, who was awarded the final transfer spot when NASCAR officials ruled that Christopher Bell committed a safety violation on the last lap of the race when Bell rode the wall to pass Bubba Wallace in Turn 4. William Byron spoke to NBC Sports on NASCAR’s ruling post-race.

Aric Almirola won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity series race at Martinsville Speedway. For Almirola, this marks Almirola’s seventh career Xfinity win and will now give Joe Gibbs Racing the chance to race for an owners championship next weekend at Phoenix Raceway. Rounding out the top five were Sammy Smith in second, Chandler Smith in third, Cole Custer in fourth and Justin Allgaier in fifth.

AJ Allmendinger won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. With his win, Allmendinger is now locked into the Championship 4 at Phoenix next month. “Let’s go win a championship,” Allmendinger said over the radio after winning Saturday’s Xfinity series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Allmendinger will chase his first ever shot at a championship in the Xfinity series. Allmendinger became the 17th different winner this season in the Xfinity series.
